Matt started his professional life not in the electrical industry but in the dark, behind the scenes in various venues, theatres and events around the UK, mainland Europe and Victoria.

Graduating from Queen Margaret University College in 1999 with a BA Stage Management & Theatre Production, he then went on to work in a highly varied range of work environments and locations, even so far as northern Europe where he participated in the construction of Disneyland Paris, and finally western Canada where is he proud to now make his home.

Matt has once again taken advantage of a highly varied market to enjoy a wide range of construction styles and environments. Most predominant has been the residential market, finding that his technical skills have lent themselves well to cutting edge smart home applications.
